Avocado here, avocado there, avocado everywhere….
Time to put the guacamole and chips down and put it in your hair. Not literally.
The main ingredient in guacamole being avocado is a great hair mask. Avocado is a monounsaturated fatty acid, which is higher than extra virgin olive oil and when you apply it to your hair it can moisturize, nourish and strengthen your hair.
Every Sunday before cleaning my apartment, I mix half an avocado and egg and put it on the ends of my hair. Avocado is great for really dry hair. Since my hair is oily at the scalp I only apply the hair mask to my ends to lessen the heat damage I put my hair through. After a few hours I take it off in the shower and I can already feel my hair ends a lot softer.
For people who don’t have the time, even a 15 minute avocado hair mask can do wonders. It never hurts to try.
